1) Played pictionary on the board reviewing Chapter 3 vocabulary...all before lunch.
2) After lunch, we continued our game, but we did classic board races with our verb conjugations!
3) Don't forget about the quiz tomorrow...oye chicos! There's a QUIZ tomorrow!

Hola chicos! What we did in class today:
1) I collected the Worksheet I assigned yesterday!
2) We played a group game with verb conjugations and I gave away a beloved box of Girl Scout Cookies to the winning team!
3) I announced that there will be a Verb Conjugations Quiz on Friday during class, over ER/IR verb conjugations! You have to put in the time to study these verbs outside of class!

Hola chicos! Here's what we did in class today:
1) We reviewed in our notes all Present Tense Conjugations (AR, ER, IR). If you do not have these in your notes, please refer to the Vtext in Chapter 3 to get these written down, or ask me for help!
2) We learned the conjugations for TENER and VENIR which are irregular verbs and do not follow
the same conjugation pattern. These verb conjugations and meanings must be in your notes!
3) I also assigned a Worksheet p. 29-30 practicing our ER/IR verb conjugations. I have extra in class if you did not receive one or complete it!

Here's what we did in class today:
1) Supersite: We logged into the Supersite and enrolled into this trimester's course. (YOU MUST ASK ME HOW TO DO THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT ENROLLED)
2) We also completed our Pre-Test on Canvas for this Tri...but you don't need to make it up since you were absent :)
3) We also took the family vocabulary quiz...10 words...10 pts. (This must be made up in a Panther Plus ASAP because it is marked in Skyward as a "0" until I change it!

Friday, February 19th
Hola chicos! Estoy muy enferma hoy :( (I am very sick today...)
You have a Substitute for today, and I apologize! I don't miss very often, and I don't like being away from you all! Thank you all for being patient and flexible today. I hope you were respectful to the Sub!
1) Today was note-taking day. In the textbooks, section 3.3 in Chapter 3, you are to take all verbs from the vocabulary list and conjugate them in your notes. You can refer to the Vtext at our Supersite!
2) I will be checking on Monday in your notes to see if they are in your notes for your participation grade for the day!
3) After the notes are taken, students are to get with a partner in class and quiz each other on vocabulary and help each other with pronunciation.
If you were absent, please get the verb conjugations from the vocabulary in your notes!

2) You were given Ch. 3 Vocabulary lists. We filled in all the English translations together in class. You must have this vocabulary sheet filled out in order to study/memorize the vocabulary.
3) We did p. 22 "Who Are They" Activity in class on the projector screen and practiced describing people and things with adjectives.
If absent, your make-up work for today is to get the Chapter 3 vocabulary sheet and fill in the English words!

Supersite Log-In
1. Make sure your Supersite log in is working! This is where we access our Vtext, since the textbooks cannot be taken outside of the classroom.
Today is the first day of our class in the 3rd trimester! We did the following activities:
1. Played the Name Game
2. Introduced ourselves in Spanish
3. Went over the course Syllabus *HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT*
4. Previewed the course ahead!
**The Homework Assignment is to read the syllabus with a parent/guardian, and both need to sign and return to Mrs. Hawkins by Feb. 19th!!
